We are so pleased that following the announcement last night Lord Blyton Primary School will open to all pupils on Monday 8th March. We are working on our Return to School Plan and will send it to parents and Carers later in the week.It will follow Government guidance so we continue to keep staff, pupils and parent/carers as safe from COVID 19 as we can.The plan will give you all the information you need. Please be patient whilst we put the plans in place. They will be emailed to you and then put on the website and social media. You have all done a fantastic job home schooling where you can. The end is in sight and we can't wait to see the children again. ... See MoreSee Less

South Tyneside Council & South Tyneside CCG are pleased to announce a new range of training for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND. Based on what parents have told us, we have pulled together a training programme covering a range of topics including SEND Law, Makaton, Challenging Behaviour and much more. The training programme will run for the next 12 months with lots of opportunities for parents to choose the training that’s of most interest to them. All courses are free to join. We are now taking bookings for the first event: a series of training on SEND Law. These sessions will be delivered by Claire Jackson of SENETA (Special Educational Needs Expert Training & Advocacy). Click the link below to find out more about the sessions and book your space.www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/send-local-offer-south-tyneside-32567325573 Information on all future courses will appear over the coming weeks For more information, contact: sendlocaloffer@southtyneside.gov.uk ...
