We have all heard the plans for a return to school over the coming months. At Lord Blyton, we will be following the National and Local Government advice around preparing for an opening of schools to more pupils from the 1st June 2020. We will be planning for the potential opening of schools over the next 3 weeks. This is a provisional date and certain factors have to be met. You will have lots of questions around a safe return as we do and not all of these have been answered yet.
We will be asking you about your intentions to send your children back to school over the coming weeks so we can plan safely. We are not asking you immediately as you will need time to take on board advice and recommendations as we do.
All information released so far can be found on the http://GOV.UK/ website including information and guidance to schools.
The UK Government’s COVID-19 recovery strategy is also on there. We all have our personal views on this so please do not comment on our school Facebook page around this. We will be working with all stakeholders to ensure that our families are supported in whatever decisions people make.
In the meantime, we love seeing and hearing about all your adventures and the exciting life skills you are learning.
Parents and carers please do not worry or stress about homeschooling we will be here to sort things out after this National Crisis.
Stay safe and stay alert.
