Reception enjoyed a visit to our hospital last week. The children got to look around an x-ray room and see all the equipment that radiologists use to take x-rays so they can look at people’s bones to see if anything is wrong with them. They got to look around the plaster room, and learn how the plaster technicians apply plasters to people who have broken bones. The children got to dress up as patients, nurses and doctors and try putting on bandages and slings and using the stethoscope to listen to each others and their own heart beats. They even got to bring back to school some supplies to put into our very own play hospital. A huge thank you to the staff who showed us around!
