On Friday 1st February our school is taking part in Number Day to help raise money for the NSPCC. Children will be enjoying practical maths in their classroom, involving problem-solving and reasoning activities. It is a good opportunity to raise the profile of maths while also supporting a very worthy cause. They are welcome to come in to school wearing anything with numbers or patterns, or alternatively they can wear green, which is the recognised colour of the NSPCC charity. We ask that your child brings in a voluntary donation for the charity (recommended amount £1) should they come in non-uniform. We would also appreciate any loose change you may have to create class coin trails.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Wales (Maths co-ordinator)
