This week year 1 have been tending to their Easter garden.

Before the Easter holidays they had great fun making it and watching the grass grow. When the children returned to school the grass was so long it needed to be cut. The children moved the stone and left white cloth to show that Jesus had risen. They planted a pink petunia to show new life. We discussed how Easter Sunday is a happy day for Christians and reflected on the things that make them happy.
