Hooks into Books

Our Summer selection of books for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 from Seven Stories have arrived in school today!
Each term we are sent books chosen specially by staff at Seven Stories based on recommended, popular or new authors. The team at Seven Stories carefully select from the thousands of children’s books published each year and develop information and activities to create packs of seven books for each key stage.
These books will be used as a focus for Reading for Pleasure and to refresh our bookshelves.
We are particularly looking forward to reading ‘The Secret of Haven Point’ as this book is actually set in South Shields and we had a virtual author visit from the author Lisette Auton last term.
