Last week, three year 5/6 cricket teams went to whitburn cc and took part in a countdown cricket South Tyneside qualifier event. Some fantastic cricket was played throughout the day and the children really showed how hard they had worked in our after school sessions. Out of the three teams, one has successfully qualified for the South Tyneside finals event next month, where they will be aiming for a place in the Tyne and Wear County finals.
