An absolutely brilliant day in the sunshine for our year 5/6 athletes today. Two teams entered and both finished in the top 10 standings. One of our teams won the whole competition and will now go onto represent South Tyneside in the county finals!!!! And out of approximately 400 children our very own Ruby from year 6 came first in the girls category, Lilie in year 6 came 3rd in the girls category and Cameron from year 5 came 3rd in the boys category!!! A real historic effort by both teams!! Overall some fantastic individual performances by all, resulting in lots of top 3 finishes in races, jumps and throws!!
