This week our journey took us into Space with the story ‘Whatever Next’ by Jill Murphy…we retold the story pretending to baby bear travelling to the moon in a box for a rocket and an owl he met on the way!!!We searched in Forest School to find the ‘million stars’ he passed on the way. When we got to the moon we realised there were no animals, plants, people, houses or cars!!! There was nothing to do on the moon…so we decided to have a space pic nic like baby bear did in the story. We had jam sandwiches, crisps, biscuits and juice. Next we read some of our favourite stories which we shared with a friend…this is something we love to do in a Nursery and even more fun on the moon 🌙 when we had finished we travelled back home in our rocket for a nice warm bath and bed!!!! 😴
