Last week the children in the Isobel room went on a journey in Forest School on a pirate ship!!!! We were all given pirate names then searched and found lots ‘loot'(treasure) in the bushes and trees. We counted the gold coins saying one number for each coin then showed how many on our fingers. Next Captain Collins made us walk the plank!!! We carefully balanced over the sharks and sea creatures so we didn’t wobble into the water!!! We were so good we even managed to do it with our eyes closed!!! We had lots of fun and finished with a sea shanty counting song ‘when I was one’ 🎶
