This half term in Design Technology, year 1 have been designing and making super hero shields. They began looking at pictures of real shields and those used by characters in films, comics and books. Next, they examined materials and objects they could use and designed their shields from the materials and objects they chose. Finally, they made their shields using paint and different glues to attach the different parts. They had a great time posing for their pictures as super heroes.
