To mark British Science Week the sycamore class decided to make paper boats and see how many ‘crew’ they could hold.  The children followed a tutorial on how to make a paper boat, then we made the sea in a bowl and each took a turn to see how many marbles or ‘crew’ they could hold before capsizing.   One boat had a massive 45 crew members!
