Year 3 have been investigating growth of plants for Science Week. They have been trying to answer the question “Do plants need soil to grow?” They planted cress seeds in different mediums (paper, compost, sand, cotton wool and with nothing) and predicted if it will grow. They then left them on the windowsill to see if they grew and went back to them a week later to see if their predictions were correct.
