The children in our Three Year Old Nursery enjoyed their first trip to Forest School of the year. We have been drawing ourselves in Nursery this week and thinking about the way our face can show how we are feeling inside, linked to ‘The Colour Monster’ story. We hunted for different funny faces in the trees and bushes then had a go copying these expressions! We then used natural materials to make our own nature faces with two eyes, a nose a mouth, two ears and hair! Next week in Nursery we will be painting our self portraits so this will help us lots. As we were exploring we noticed that the apple trees planted a couple of years ago had beautiful rosy red apples on them which we picked and took back to Nursery. We are going to use the apples to make something delicious to eat! ☺️😢😡😟😊
