Last Sunday our girls school football team received a fantastic opportunity where they were mascots for Newcastle United women v Bradford City women. As part of the mascot package they got a full matchday experience. This involved getting autographs from the players, a team photo to take home, getting their lunch, walking out with the players, being ball girls during the game and finally ending with a training session on the pitch after the game had finished. Furthermore Newcastle club captain Brooke Cochrane stayed behind after the match to take individual photographs with each of the girls. The girls will receive their photos with a personalised message from Brooke! The girls had a fabulous day, an experience they won’t forget.
