A lovely Easter service led by our year 6’s today at St Simon’s church this morning. Beautiful singing from all of our classes. Well done to you all!

In Science this week, the children in Year 1 carried out a taste test and used their sense of taste to describe various foods. Children tasted spinach, marshmallows, salted crisps and lemon – some liked the lemon more than others! We talked about what we liked and disliked, recognising that everyone’s tastes are different. Lord Blyton Primary School
Year 3 Science- Investigating Magnet Strength. Today, we tested the strength of magnets by planning and carrying out an investigation. We used a bar, button and horseshoe magnet and counted the number of paper clips they could hold. We discussed the variables we would change and those that would remain the same to make it a fair test. We recorded our results in a table and a bar chart and made a conclusion.
