This week, in between SATs revision, Year 6 have been involved in some activities for Maths Week. On Monday we looked at Curves of Pursuit. We thought they looked very complicated to draw, however using our mathematical skill, we were able to produce some very good examples. Hopefully we will be able to display them in school for all to see.

Yesterday, we played The Fairtrade Game. We were divided into 5 groups and each group was given certain supplies to enable them to produce and sell cut-out shapes to Mrs Collins, who everyone soon realised had very high standards and wouldn’t part with her money easily! We discussed Fairtrade and strategies used during the game. I think everyone agreed it was chaos but enjoyable.
