Today, the first of 3 netball teams took to the court at Temple Park in an attempt to qualify for the South Tyneside finals next week at the same venue.It was a fiercely competitive tournament with lots of evenly matched teams on show.Our team finished with a solid record of 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat from 6 games. Wonderfully worked team goals scored by Layton (5), Holly (2), Max (2), Layla and Bella, helped contribute hugely to the final standings, finishing in 2nd place and ultimate qualification into next weeks South Tyneside netball finals. Fingers crossed they can be joined by our other 2 teams after tomorrow’s tournament.
