Nursery 3’s Find Lost Children

The children in the nursery 3’s have been learning about ‘People Who Help Us’ and the Emergency Services. We received a letter asking us to help because some of the Mams and Dads had lost their children in Forest School. We have been learning to use the(toy) phones to make 999 calls but we know that we must only ever do this in a real emergency. We each dialled 999 and asked for the Police then explained what had happened. We then set to work hunting for the lost boys and girls in Forest School. We talked lots about how to stay safe with our Grown- ups when we are out and about and what to do if we ever get lost and who we should ask for help. We then played a detective listening game where we had to listen very careful to the description of each of the children so we could work out who Miss Collins was talking about! 📱👮 🧒 🌳
