This week the pupils in the 3 year old nursery have been learning about Bonfire Night and its traditions. They listened to the story of Guy Fawkes and discovered why people celebrate with fireworks and bonfires. The children enjoyed making their own sparklers using natural materials and created bright firework prints with paint and glitter. They also helped to build a small bonfire and learned about the importance of firework and fire safety. It was a fun and engaging week that helped the children understand this exciting annual celebration.
