This week the pupils in the 3 year old nursery have been learning about the festival of Diwali. They explored the story of Rama and Sita and learned how Diwali is celebrated by many people around the world. The children enjoyed a range of hands-on activities, including making their own diva lamps and creating colourful rangoli and mehndi patterns. They also took part in Diwali dancing and had the opportunity to taste traditional foods associated with the festival. The week was a wonderful celebration of light, colour, and culture, helping the children develop their understanding of different traditions and communities.
