The children have been learning all about dental hygiene and the importance of looking after their teeth. They learned about the job of a dentist and the tools dentists use to help keep our teeth healthy.

They also explored which foods are good for our teeth and which foods we should only eat in moderation. The children practised how to brush their teeth properly, brushing up and down, side to side, and making sure to reach the teeth at the back. They used a sand timer to make sure they brushed for a full two minutes.

All of the children brought home their very own toothbrush so they can continue practising at home. They are going to have super sparkly teeth!
