This morning our school librarians visited the library at the Word. Jolene the librarian, showed our librarians around all sections of the library and explained how to borrow books. The children completed a quiz about how to use the library, read some books, sorted author names into alphabetical order and ordered non-fiction Dewey numbers. They also had a little time to explore the exhibition in the Word before returning back to school. 

Our librarians can use what they have learnt today to run our beautiful new library which will be opening very soon!
