During Science week, Year 1 have been focusing on the traditional tale Jack and the Beanstalk and have been planting their very own beans! The children have enjoyed taking part in a range of activities; including going on a plant hunt and recording their findings, carrying out a flower experiment with food colouring and planting their own seeds. They have been learning about what plants need to grow and are looking forward to observing their seedlings and watching them grow.
