This week in the Three Year Old Nursery we have been thinking about birthdays and how we celebrate the special day we were born. We read a story called ‘We’re going to a birthday party’ then helped to look for the missing party items in Forest School, ready for our party in Nursery! We found presents, cake, candles, party hats and balloons. Then we had lots of fun making very messy mud cakes which we decorated with a number and candles. We won’t be eating the mud cakes but have made delicious cupcakes with icing and sprinkles for our party! Next week we will be learning about our Families and how we have grown and changed from a baby to now .
