A fun day was had by everyone in the 2-year-olds room celebrating World Book Day! 📚🦈
We read Shark in the Park on a Windy Day by Nick Sharratt, and everyone loved shouting “Shark in the park!” along with the story.
The children enjoyed fishing for sharks in the water tray, finding ducks in the foamy sensory tray, and making their very own telescopes just like Timothy in the story. 🔭
We then went outside to the garden to look for objects from the story and made sure the baby didn’t go into the pond, just like in the book! Finally, we had great fun hunting for sharks hiding around the nursery.
A fantastic day full of stories, imagination, and lots of giggles! 😊
