As part of our RE topic, the children in Year 1 enjoyed a visit to St Simon’s Church this week. The children explored the church, identifying different items they could see. They learned new vocabulary, including pulpit, pews, font and lectern. They asked Reverend Andrew lots of questions and behaved beautifully.
