The children in Year 1 had a fantastic day at St Mary’s Lighthouse. They spent the day rockpooling, exploring the lighthouse…climbing 137 steps to the top, and enjoyed a lesson, learning about lighthouse keepers lives. It was a wonderful experience and allowed the children to imagine what life would have been like for Grace Darling.
