Year 1 Visit to Souter Lighthouse

Year One had a fantastic time visiting Souter Lighthouse yesterday. They enjoyed exploring rock pools, searching for crabs, fish and other creatures; some were even brave enough to hold a pie crab 🦀! The lighthouse tour was lots of fun and the children had the opportunity to see what life would have been like to be a lighthouse keeper and how they lived in such cramped conditions. The children learned lots of facts about the lighthouse and were excellent at answering questions. All children made it to the top of the lighthouse and even those who felt a little nervous were very brave and managed brilliantly. It was a fantastic way to end what has been an amazing year!
