Year 3 Art- Prehistoric Painting. In art, we have been exploring prehistoric painting which linked in nicely with our Stone Age topic. We have looked at natural pigments and have used primary colours to produce secondary colours which we will use in our paintings. We used charcoal to sketch animals and are looking forward to producing paintings ‘on cave walls’ and handprints just like they did all of those years ago.
