Children in KS2 took part in an invention challenge during British Science Week. The challenge was to invent something to protect the planet. This could be a way to protect nature, a new way to create energy, a new way to travel or an idea to reduce waste. The entries were judged by a panel of engineers. Today, year 3 had an online meeting with Ellie from Little Inventors. Whilst all entries were fantastic, Laila was chosen as a winner and this was announced to us all which is amazing news! Her invention will now be made by a North-East based company called Orbital FX and will be put on display at The Word. Super STEM skills again at Lord Blyton. Well done Laila what a fantastic achievement!
