Year 3 have been learning about Hinduism in R.E. This week, we celebrated Diwali which is an important Hindu festival. We looked at how Hindu’s prepare for Diwali, how it is a special time for Hindu families and we explored the story of Rama and Sita. We created our own rangoli patterns and are looking forward to making clay diva lamps as Diwali is also known as the ‘festival of light.’
