In Science, we have been learning about forces and magnets. We have talked about friction, and how it can slow an object down or speed it up. We planned and carried out an investigation to test how far a toy car travels on various surfaces (both rough and smooth). We made predictions and carried out a fair test, changing variables and measuring/ recording our results. We discovered smooth surfaces speed up acceleration. We had lots of fun taking part as you can see from the photos.
