Year 4 Woodhorn Colliery visit. Year 4 visited Woodhorn Museum as part of our History study Mining in the North East. We explored the original mine buildings dating back to 1894, looked at the Pitmen Painters paintings and the history of coal mining in the Coal Town Museum. We also had a little time to play in the fabulous play park and explore the wildlife garden.
