Today, a small number of out Y5s got the opportunity to take part in a “Little Sticks” Golf festival, organised by the “Majesticks” golf team at the Beacon of Light.

The children were able to have a go and practice their putting and chipping skills in a variety of golf based challenges.

As an added bonus, they received a free “majesticks” cap and a certificate signed by former World Number 1 and current “Majesticks” player Lee Westwood.

There was also a Q and A and a brief meet and greet with Lee Westwood. Where a couple of our children asked some very good inquisitive questions to him.

In addition; school have received a signed “Majesticks” replica shirt to go with the children’s certificates and caps.

A really fantastic day for the children involved!
