Year 5 have been investigating transparency in this week’s science lesson. They also incorporated a bit of computing into the lesson as well. First they programmed the Microbits to become light meters. The Microbits then could tell us how much light it was detecting. They then tested various material such as a freezer bag, card, tracing paper, baking paper, and plastic to see how much light passed through each to work out how transparent each one was.
