Year 6 visited the fire station this week to attend the RAP (reducing accidents at play) event. They learnt about how to keep themselves safe in various situations and how to minimise dangers. One of the key messages was not to charge phones overnight as overcharging can cause house fires. They were advised to charge before bed or first thing on a morning, so parents and carers please encourage them to do this! 😊
