New Seven Stories Online Exhibition

NEW online exhibition launches to showcase the ‘stories behind the stories’
What did the initial Gruffalo illustrations look like? Who was the inspiration for George in the Famous Five books? What word game did Lewis Carroll invent? What’s in Valerie Bloom’s fan mail? These stories and many more are now live to explore in our new interactive digital exhibition, sevenstories.online.

The new site hosts hundreds of items including 360-degree tours of the Seven Stories galleries, interviews with top authors and illustrators, previously unseen archive materials such as first drafts, planning notes and initial illustrations for well-known books.

Pupils can tap, click, shuffle and search the tiles to discover the stories behind the stories, in the classroom and at home. Take a look!
