Morrisons Seeds of Hope

Our school linked up with Morrisons Champion South Shields to take part in their Seeds of Hope initiative to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. Their aim is to spread hope and positivity to local communities. Every child in our school was given a packet at cornflower seeds which they have either planted at school or taken home to plant. Cornflowers were chosen because it is the Queen’s favourite colour and one of her favourite flowers. Some of our older children wrote messages of hope on paper chains which we are going to use for our Jubilee celebrations.
