Year 1 have had a fun-filled afternoon! On our recent trip to St Mary’s Lighthouse we were unable to fit in a trip to the ice-cream man as promised due to timings so as an extra special treat and to avoid disappointment, we had a visit from an ice-cream lady who provided the whole class with delicious ice-creams! We enjoyed them in the sunshine before setting up our blankets in the shade and having a ‘Booknic’; enjoying a range of stories with some snacks. The children had a wonderful afternoon.
