On Monday morning the children in nursery noticed something strange outside on the way to school. We decided to put on our welly boots and coats and go down to forest school to explore further. Jack Frost has been during the night and covered everything with white sparkly frost. We made patterns in the frost using our fingers and found leave covered in ice. It was very cold. Back in class we had a hot chocolate by the fire to warm up. We then decided to complete our own ice investigation and froze some pirate treasure in ice. We had great fun trying to melt the ice to get the treasure out.
