This week the children in the three year old nursery have been taking part in the Big Bird Watch. We have made our own binoculars using a range of materials and made some pinecone bird feeders using bird seed and raisins. We then took them down to forest school and hung them in the trees which will hopefully attract more birds so we can spot them. We have been reading information books to find out all about the different birds we might see looking at the colour of their feathers which will help us to remember what type of bird they are. We’ve had great fun
