Our Three Year Old Nursery children went on their first adventure to Forest School today. We read one of our ‘favourite five’ stories ‘Dear Zoo’ by Rod Campbell and found that some of the animals had escaped from the zoo and were missing in Forest School. We hunted for the missing animals, used their animal names talked about the sounds they made and counted how many we had each found. The children used fabulous listening ears, were all able to put on their wellies, had lots of fun and a well deserved hot chocolate and biscuit. We are looking forward to visiting Forest School every Thursday morning
