As part of learning about Day and Night and Light and Dark, the children in the Thee Year Old Nursery listened to the story 'How to catch a Star' by Oliver Jeffers. We set off to Forest School to see if we could catch any silver shiny stars. We carefully counted how many we each found. Then we used sticks, pipe cleaners and golden stars to make star wands. We used these back in nursery to make marks, patterns and write our names in the flour. The children have taken their wands home so if you have any flour, salt or glitter at home sprinkled thinly on a tray or baking tray, they could show you how clever they are at making marks 🪄 ✨ 🌟 ...
