Today was NSPCC Number Day. In year 3, we had a great time focussing on all things mathematical. We talked about how maths is a skill for life, and how we use maths skills and strategies so much every single day. We couldn’t think of a career where maths wasn’t needed! We completed our usual maths lesson but also did some extra problem solving and reasoning, played some maths games to test our multiplication, division, addition and subtraction skills and also used Doodlemaths to take part in their number challenge. We really enjoyed it.
