Our a three Year Old Nursery children took part in Remembrance Day. We talked about people who look after us and keep us safe such as Mummy’s, Daddy’s, Teachers, Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Doctors, Nurses and Lollipop people. We looked at photos from the past of soldiers and noticed that they were black and white. We learnt that a poppy is a flower that people wear to help them remember. We created a huge poppy in Nursery using lots of red and black things which we collected. Then we went to Forest School to hunt for poppies and to make our own beautiful poppies using red black and green objects to help us remember.
