There’s a house my mummy’s tummy

Today we read a story called ‘There’s a house my mummy’s tummy’ we talked about how we all grow as babies in our mummy’s tummy and when we are born we are part of a family who are all different but special. In Forest School we built a house from sticks then made our special families from pebbles. We talked about mummy’s, daddy’s, brother’s, sister’s, nana’s and grandad’s and even our pets !! The children have been learning the Makaton signs for our family members. We enjoyed a lovely warm hot chocolate as a treat.
