Library Visit Our 8 KS2 librarians visited the library at The Word this morning with Mrs Simpson to find out about how a library is run. Jolene the librarian showed our librarians the different sections of the library then the children completed a quiz about what they had learnt. They were shown how the Dewey Decimalsystem is used to arrange the non-fiction books then they had to find certain books using the ordered numbers. They even got a chance to look at some of the lovely books on display. Our librarians are going to share what they learnt about libraries and how to borrow books in an assembly at school soon. ...
