On a recent visit to library at The Word, Year 1 met with the author Kristina Stephenson. She shared some of her stories with us, including ‘The Museum of Marvellous Things’ and ‘Sir Charlie Stinky Socks’. She talked to the children about using their imagination and shared with them what inspired her and gave her ideas for her stories. The children had a wonderful time; taking part in dress up activities, asking her questions and joining in with key parts of her stories. Some children were lucky enough to get a book signed by the author herself!!!
