Today 30 children from year 3 and 4 took part in an athletics event held at Monkton stadium. They participated in events such as: 50m sprint, howler throw, 400m run and the long jump. Our group was split into three teams and in the final standings one of our teams finished 4th out of 28 teams. All of the children tried their best in difficult weather conditions and behaved well throughout. In addition Isaac from y4 came 2nd out of all the boys in whole event. Well done to Isaac, a magnificent achievement!!
